Distance Education and Library Services
Students may check out library books from the physical collection. Research materials are available using a variety of media, including print, video, CD-ROM, internet and online services. In addition to assigned class research, students are encouraged to satisfy their personal interests by making use of fiction and non -fiction books, newspapers, and magazines. The Distance Education and Library Service Coordinator II. The Distance Education Coordinator is responsible for the development and operation of the school’s distance Education and selected off- campus programs. The Distance Education Coordinator works with faculty and staff to promote distance education, alternative distance learning delivery methods, develop online courses and provide student and faculty support services in the areas of instructional design/ technology. Distance Education and Library Service Coordinator II assists the Distance Education and Library Service Coordinator I with the functions of library services. Coordinate day-to-day operations of distance learning programs and schedule courses.

The Distance Education and Library Service Coordinator I is responsible for the development and operation of the campus and virtual libraries. This person reports directly to the Dean of Academics and has responsibility for all aspects of library operations, including: strategic planning with respect to the future growth and development of the library, and initiating and monitoring library programs and services. This person ensures that the school Library’s collection and resources are sufficient to meet the primary goal of supporting the teaching and research needs of the School’s faculty, staff and students, and ensures that the school Library is in compliance with accreditation standards. The Distance Education and Library Service Coordinator II work closely with the Distance Education and Library Services in monitoring and building the school’s distance education resources and learning management system.

IT support service is an independent contract employed by the institution to provide IT support services. Student may contact IT support via email and submit a ticket. IT support can also be contacted via Tampa Medical College website. IT support provides a mean for students to ask questions about technological requirements and other requirements and help when the student is having trouble with the learning management system and other systems utilized for learning
