Transcript Evaluations

To start the process of determining the transferability of academic credit, the student must submit an official transcript to the Office of Registrar from the institution(s) where they originally earned the credit.

Tampa Medical College reserves the right to determine whether academic work completed at another institution will be accepted or awarded as transfer credit.

All transfer credits must meet the same rubric, content, and credit criteria as the corresponding Tampa Medical College course the student is enrolling in. Additionally, transfer credit must come from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by either the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the United States Department of Education (USDE).

The information documented on the transfer credit evaluation will become a part of the student’s permanent record.

Transcripts from Foreign Schools

If you provide a transcript from a foreign school, it must be reviewed by a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE) approved evaluation agency.

Tampa Medical College reserves the right to accept or deny any course based on its evaluation of submitted transcripts. Please refer to the current catalog for more information on the College’s transfer policy.

The equivalency lists that populate are indicative of courses that have previously been submitted and reviewed. However, this may change from time to time, and the courses may be specific only to select years and not all offerings.
